About Famous Jamas

Art has been the through-line of the entire life of Famous Jamas. He knew he wanted to be a professional artist around age 10, never really wavered from that. Self-taught from the start — drawing, painting, having fun.

In is early 20s being mentored by a well-known artist from Pacific Grove, California changed his path. The experience sharpened his eye and saw a new way to approach color. Traveling and painting en plein air, as well as, home studio paintings all the way up to larger murals on various surfaces. 

Never being drawn to the corporate gallery world, rather connecting directly with the people who genuinely appreciate his art. Every painting he makes— whether it's a seascape, a landscape, a fantasy world, or a custom commission — is made with full commitment and no compromises.
